Alice stood at the bars for the swings, enjoying the cool spring breeze against her pale hard skin. The wind gently moved her hair along with it's motion, despite her spikes being so short and pointed out in every direction. The short strands of her midnight hair still danced in the wind, the color matching the darkness around her. Only on rare occasions did the sun ever pop out from under the near permanent cover of the clouds. Even rarer did you get to see the stars and moon from beneath the puffy white cotton floating in the night sky, but tonight was luckily that night, and of course, Alice had predicted that one, who wouldn't want to see this?
But, instead of telling her family, she would let them find out on their own, which twas bound to happen. She and the rest of them had to spend every minute of their eternally damned life's awake, not to ever have a dream again. How cursed it was, to not be able to dream, to close your eyes for what seems maybe ten minutes, but you awake to it being the morning, it was like magic. But to Alice, this never really happened, she never got to feel anything. Stuck in darkness all her life, at least she was out and living, and not held in darkness anymore, she was free to roam the Earth, for literally, all eternity.
Damn eternity, she thought helplessly, why does it have to be so strong. Why can't it be more frail like everything else in this pitiful world I call home. Why won't you let time just stop, and let me become old, to be able to grow old, and to live life normally. But then again, she thought, I'm not stuck in darkness like some still are, they don't even know who they are, I do, at least know, who I am now. I am Alice Cullen, married to Jasper Hale, the most wonderful man this world could create. I have a family who loves me, and i return the love, fully and strong we live together and accomplish our life as peaceful vampires. Alice could live for eternity, and she would live it to the best, like she was at this moment.
Grinning in the lightly lit darkness of light, Alice Perched herself on top of the swings, balancing easily on the top bar, her hands not even gripping the metal for support. She looked up at the sky, and wondered what truly was up there, if God really was there. Did vampires really have an afterlife, do they go to heaven?
She reached her hand out towards the stars and murmured quietly enough to where no human could even have known she spoke, "How I wonder what you are, little star up above me..."She added even more quietly. "Are you in heaven now?" Alice let her hand fall to her side, and in one swift movement was on her feet, now standing next to the slide. Light bounces off her hair, creating glimmers of light to illuminate around her, and he body sparkled like a thousand stars up above her.
Alice wished quietly one of her family members would come to her side, more then ever now she felt alone, she couldn't help but to feel lonesome when neither Jasper or Edward were by her, they made her smile, and look forward to the next day. And Bella as well, she was such an unusual human girl, and she loved her to death, she was just so adorable and nice, they were sisters already. But still, Alice thought that even Emmett or Rosalie would make do to take company with, they were her family as well.
Looking around her she snarled playfully, hoping someone would answer, she needed someone right now, anyone. She growled and crouched down, hoping to see a sparkling figure in the darkness, just like she looked. Alice searched for a possible soul to be lurking around at night, someone she could talk to. She let out one last growl playfully and laid swiftly on her back on the grass in the park, staring at the sky, still hoping.
