Personality;
Jasper’s your average Southern gentleman, despite his horrific past. He’s rather withdrawn and tends to avoid human contact. He has dedicated to a life as a ‘vegetarian’ vampire, but he still finds it hard to resist what he preyed on for so many years. He’s a good person, but haunted by the time he almost killed Bella, causing Edward to make the family move. He still feels personally responsible for the mess that became.
His wife and complete soulmate, Alice is what helps him hang on to what he and his family works so hard to hold on to, and if it weren’t for her, he knows what would happen. He hates himself for the human lives he’s taken, and every time he’s tempted to kill someone else, he feels guilty for weeks. He being so new to the family, this happens often, making him seem withdrawn and standoffish. Despite his… colorful… past, he never feels like his family punishes him for it. He also feels that he deserves neither his amazing family nor Alice, the very core of his life.
Though he has been told several times not to worry about it, his past has had an enormous effect on his life, as you may understand. He is revolted by the idea of killing whilst at the same time, completely and utterly obsessed with it. The occasional battle or brotherly conflict of any sort relieves his mind for days, making him a very competitive person. But despite all that, his empathic powers make him understanding and considerate. Basically, Jasper is the ultimate big brother. =)
Appearance;
Jasper is a tall, brooding sort of character. He has developed a way of looking like a dangerous movie star. Jasper has basic vampiric looks, with little details that make his face his own. Taller than most people, he is a pale, snow white person, as if he hasn’t spent a single second in the sun throughout his entire life. His eyes a shadowed with purple lines that are, depending on when he last fed, sometimes more prominent than at others. His eyes are a ranging butterscotch gold to ebony black with the power to go from light and happy to dark and evil in the time span of a millisecond.
His body is perfectly chiseled, if a bit more muscled than Edwards and not nearly so much as Emmett’s. His arms are scarred with multiple vampire bites, souvenirs of his life in the South. He is generally seen, not slouching per say, but more casually lounging about. The way he holds himself, you almost expect him to shift into a battle crouch at any second.
He is a very impressive figure, not someone your average human would even dare to mess with. He might, maybe, look human from a distance. If seen on a dark night from far away by a person who is nearsighted and just lost their glasses, let us put it that way. In the sunlight, he glitters just like any other vampire. Mostly he likes to avoid going out during the day. I mean, who knows when a cloud could shift and ruin your whole cover? It’s very possible. IT was one thing he liked about Forks: that never happened.

History;
Jasper was the youngest major in Texas when he was made a vampire at the age of eighteen. One night, as he was evacuating the town of Galveston, he went back to check to see if anyone had been left behind. As he did, he came upon three young women. They were actually vampires, but he didn’t know this at the time. The head vampire, Maria decided to keep him, saying there was something about him.
So Maria changed him and he became part of the coven. He soon discovered his abilities and became a proficient fighter. Maria ‘promoted’ him, putting him in charge of the forces. They soon became more and more powerful. Jasper continued his existence this way until one day he was ordered to weed out the too-old vampires that were starting to outgrow their uses. A partner of his, Peter had managed to survive his fatal first year and was helping Jasper.
Jasper sensed a problem with Peter when they were about halfway through, and a female, Charlotte, came forward. Peter and Charlotte run away, much to Maria’s irritation. A few years later, the two come back and tell Jasper about the peaceful life they are now leading. Jasper eagerly runs away with them and joins them in the North. However, he is still depressed, but he doesn’t know why. Peter and Charlotte do not share his depression, so he travels. Then he walks into a diner, and there is Alice. She tells him everything she’s seen for the future, and together they find the Cullen family and join it. Jasper’s depression fades (for the most part) once he stops taking human lives.

Role Playing Sample; ((It’s Dragon Riders of Pern))
Ailim was socializing happily at the party when the humming started. She was elegantly dressed in an elves’ outfit in a loose, flattering shirt-and-skirt ensemble made of a shimmering hazel material. Covered with a misty green gauze, the outfit went nicely with her pale skin and green eyes. Under the long skirt, she wore hazel silk breeches. The skirt was easily taken off, leaving her free to climb trees and scamper about with the rest of the fun people. A woven circlet of white flowers crowned her short ebony hair. When the humming started, most ran to the Grounds immediately. Ai decided to be the one to be dressed in ceremonial white.
Taking off across the Weyrbowl, she kicked off the not-so-sensible silk slippers she’d been wearing previous to this. She skidded into her room, throwing her trunk open. It ricocheted and slammed on her already desperately searching fingers with a slam. She swore loudly and opened the trunk more carefully, fingers throbbing. Trillit was darting around the room, chittering anxiously in response to the girl's frantic mood.
She stripped hurriedly, fingers throbbing, and quickly slid the ceremonial white robe over her head. She cursed as dots of blood stained the right sleeve- her right ring finger had been bloodied up when the trunk slammed down on it. No time to do anything about it now, though.
She looked around the room desperately for her sandals, unsure where she'd put them. Cursing herself for being so disorganized, the girl rummaged through drawers and trunks, looking in her wardrobe and under her bed. She tore the room apart and couldn't find the damn sandals!
Had she left them near the lake one day? No, she was careful to being all her stuff back when she went on excursions. She looked under the bed again, shook out the bedspread that was now on the floor, tossed things on the bed.
Digging through various piles of stuff that had been strewn in the wake of her frenzy, Ai took to foul, foul language. Her mother would have beat her for it, her father would have given her a chiding scolding. And still she couldn't find the cursed shoes!
