Sam quietly observed their arguement fromt he sidelines, figuring that if they were going to go at it, they might as well do it when they weren't in front of the enemy. If they fought in front of the Cullens it make them all look like a bunch of asses. Not the best appearance right before a war.
But Leah was pushing it. He growled at her, something he rarely did, lip curling over pearly white teeth that looked just as deadly as they were. Knock it off, Leah, he snapped, sending the comment to her through their telepathic connection.

Annie felt her teeth pull back and a growl come from her mouth at Leah's comments when she was still human, the message clear; Shut the fuck up. Annie was not in the best of moods (she was extremely pissed at Leah, and not at all happy with Jacob; he would definitely be ignored once he phased), and wasn't about to put up with her shit.
When Leah pawed at her, Annie swiped back rather roughly; she was pissed, and it was clear. Leah should know better to push her, especially with all the growling and the teeth showing. If Leah did not, however, back down, Annie had a good feeling instinct would kick in, and she'd do her best to beat that bitch's ass. She knew she'd also probably lose, but hell, it was worth a shot.

Let her stand up for herself, Sam.She thought, returning the growl. I won't hurt her. She continued to stand above Annie in a superior stance. She realized that she was bigger than Annie. Finally someone Leah wasn't a dwarf compared to.
And you, New Girl. You hate me. Show me how much. Leah taunted, figuring she might as well let Annie get used to the wolf form, get her satisfaction and get to do what Leah couldn't without a severe reason, physically fight with a pack member.
Leah snarled when Annie's paws swiped at her, giving her all the more reason for her taunts.

Annie had had enough from this girl. She had given ehr those warning growls and snarls, and now, she was fucking done. Hurt me? She thought, and laughed in her head. That is the least of your goddamn worries. She thought something along the lines of Sorry, but I can't take this any fucking longer, and if you aren't going to do anything, I'm going to, to Sam and Jake, before lunging.
Now, let me make myself clear: Annie was a Spanish girl. Annie was very, very good with human fighting. So, why should she be any worse at wolf fighting? Leah may be a bit bigger, though Annie was strong, and she hit her with a force that she hoped would knock her flat. She was swatting at, biting, and generally trying to hurt whatever she could reach of Leah. She was pissed, and she wanted blood.

Leah grinned wolfishly as the new girl responded how she hoped she would. She had no strategy, and you could tell all her power was in her anger. She allowed her her chance, and skidded back a bit from the force of the first blow. She stepped out of Annie's way as she started swatting and biting, though not before acquiring a gash in her shoulder. That did it for Leah. She moved toward Annie, looking for a weak spot. She swatted at Annie's side, before lunging forward and sinking her teeth into the side of the smaller wolf. If I were you, it'd be pretty high on the list Leah thought venomously. She unlocked her jaw from Annie's side, inspecting her work.

Annie was learning that strategy was key, and decided to make one of her own. She knew Leah was going to get her, and while it hurt like a goddamn bitch at first, the pain was slowly fading, as she was healing rather fast. She didn’t, however, let that show; she rolled onto her opposite side and let loose several pained whimpers; she was an actress, after all.
She was waiting for an opening the whole time, and when she received one, she lunged again, teeth latching onto Leah’s shoulder; biting as hard as she could, which was pretty damn hard. The coppery taste of blood filled her mouth, and it didn't disgust her as she thought it would. She didn’t let go for quite a long while, and after she did, she swiped at her muzzle. Annie was pissed, and she wanted to win. She may have gone down, but the battle wasn't over. And even if she lost the battle, she always won the war.

Leah let out a shrill whine of pain, but pain was not a big deal. She was going to put this bitch in her place, as she would phrase it. She leaped at Annie, sinking her teeth into Annie's shoulder, afraid to look at her own, she knew her fur was staining pink from the blood that flowed from the wound. As it healed, she eased her jaws away from Annie's shoulder and snarled at her her. She swiped a paw at Annie's swipe, scraping the previous wound she had inflicted.
She would not let this new girl, this pup beat her. She didn't care if she was the one to come out worst, this girl was going down.

Annie let out a whine and a few whimpers when Leah bit her, and tried to shake ehr off, though Leah let go of her own accord. She felt the sting and burn of the skin healing back together, and snarled at Leah, several growls leaving her as well. She may be new, and she may be small, but she knew where to hurt a person, and just how to do it.
She lunged for her collarbone, swiping hard at her side as her teeth sunk into the flesh. She'd broken her collarbone once in a cheering accident, and knew the pain was terrible; this would have to be just as bad, if not worse. She did not let go, not yet, and snarled around the flesh and muscle and blood in her mouth.

A sharp ripple of pain shot through Leah's body, and she unleashed a broken howl of agony, but shortly after she concentrated her pain into an effort to get free and inflict pain on Annie. She swiped at her muzzle and bit the one place available from the positions they were in. The back of Annie's neck. Leah knew that would hurt like the devil, but right now, that was all that mattered. She sunk her teeth in Annie's flesh and instinctively growled at her.

Annie let out a yelp around the flesh that was still in her mouth, and instinctively bit harder, feeling more blood gush into her mouth. Her jaws tightened still, locking herself onto Leah until the other girl gave up, or until Sam broke them apart. She ignored the severe pain as best as she could, and she was sure if she were human, she'd be crying at this point. However, she wasn't, and the human inside of ehr was slipping away. She was turning more and more into an animal, and just wanted Leah to suffer. Wanted to teach this bitch a lesson unlike one she'd ever receive. She swiped at her again, jaws clamping down even tighter. Damnit. it seemed as if they were at a draw, and that wouldn't do.

Leah's body shook slightly when Annie bit down harder, and as reflex, she mirrored the action. Her teeth were embedded in fur flesh and muscle. She felt the blood gushing out from Annie and the warm liquid and metalique scent felt right to her, because each moment of this fight she was merely wolf, no longer girl. Primitive instincts were kicking in, and she once again swiped a paw at Annie, her claws ripping the skin of her side.

Annie finally let go and shook Leah loose, and despite the pain that it caused, relief immediately followed. She immediately swiped at the other female's eyes, not caring if she hit her target or not (it would at least distract her a little) and lunged at her side, biting down as hard as she could, motr blood entering her mouth. She knew she was covered in blood, both her own and Leah's, though she didn't care. Adrenaline was pumping through her as it never had before,a nd snarls and growls escaped her despite her tight grip on the flesh of Leah's side. She shook her head a little, knowing it would just deepen her teeth and heighten the pain, though simply did not care.

Leah growled, shaking Annie loose. She snarled, when she got her to release her hold. She pushed her up toward a tree, and sunk her teeth into the back of her neck again. She didn't care that blood was dripping down her muzzle, that her fur was tinted pink, as long as Annie was in pain for her pain. As they say, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. The metalic scent of blood was all she could smell, and in her eyes there was only one possible outcome for this. She had to come up over Annie.

Enough. The command came coldly from Sam's thoughts. He thought that letting the girls fight it out would lead to a more peaceful excursion, but he could see no end to their battle in sight, so he had to end it before one of them got hurt.
His eyes were narrowed so that they almost looked closed. Leah, you can lead, Annie, stay in the back with Jake. He looked between the two of them in disgust, shaking his head, before starting off into the forest.

Leah only let go of Annie because of the order, if Sam hadn't stepped in, she had no idea what the outcome of this fight would have been. She had to admit, for a new wolf, Annie wasn't half bad, but Leah was completely sure she would have come out on top. When she stepped away from Annie, the relief of pain was amazing. No matter how fast a wolf healed, this would be sore for a while. She whined quietly stepping behind Sam. Are we honestly going to the Cullens in this state? It might be okay for /you/ but blood on white shows up, she thought, somewhat dejectedly. She hadn't had a chance to finish off her fight and that bothered her slightly.
